Create a memo, type in the editor and wait for the saved status. Select any memo from the list to continue editing it, or delete it early. Editing a note resets only that note’s one-year period.
Method and sources
Memos are serialized as a localStorage collection with text, creation time and latest edit time. Each expiry is recalculated as 365 days after that note’s latest edit. Intl.DateTimeFormat displays list, saved and expiry times using the active page language and the browser’s time zone. Version 1 single-note data is migrated automatically.
